Westy's was founded in 1950 by Westy Wright.
Today, some 60 years later, we have some of the finest facilities in the welding trade. We have a staffing level of twenty with a fine balance between tradesmen, steel cutters and office staff, offering the best in Quick Service and maintaining the highest standards of quality all areas of fabrication and steel cutting.

We are primarily a structural steel fabricator. We also have versatile jobbing workshop, able to take on any job type, no matter how out of the ordinary it may seem.
Accomplishing difficult and unique jobs is nothing new to Westy's, with nearly fifty years experience Westys has a strong record meeting our customers requirements.

Our professional office staff and foremen have in excess of eighty years of experience between them. We believe this insures accurate estimates for all customer quotations. Whether it's a firm bid from construction documents or even a hand drawn sketch, we will be able to provide the best estimate possible.

Our fully equipped workshop is a modern facility with a fully functioned under cover work area and same applies to our steel supply shed, to keep our stock in good condition.

Westy's is situated in Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Australia. Our in house capabilities include, Mig, Tig, Arc, On Site and all other areas of general welding fabrications and repairs, Spot Welding Brake Pressing, Hole Punching & Drilling, Rolling, Pipe & Tube Bending, with our Forklift, Car Hoist and over head crane, to name a few, makes for an all round jobbing shop.
